Today we went to a party at the house of Daddy's friend, who is a musician. George greatly enjoyed being allowed to use the microphone and kept everyone entertained.

Making the Most of our Merlin Pass - London Eye

Having spotted a bargain offer for the Merlin Annual Pass earlier this month, and spent a couple of hours queuing to pick it up at Chessington last week, we thought we would begin getting our money's worth with a trip to the London Eye and the London Aquarium.

Yo Sushi!

We all love Yo Sushi! and couldn't resist taking advantage of a special January money off offer. Still spent a fortune though - George had three lots of Doriyaki (I still don't understand how Scotch Pancakes filled with custard are a Japanese dish) and Mummy had numerous plates of prawns, cooked and raw.

Let's Do Painting!

Today we finally persuaded Daddy to let us take down the Christmas decorations. George thought it would be fun to put himself away in the box for the Christmas tree - any excuse to get up into the attic! A rare Daddy and George crafting moment:

Then George found a leftover roll of wrapping paper, unrolled it on the floor, laid down on it and demanded that we draw around him (I blame CBeebies for giving him ideas!) This life-sized painting of George was the result:

Birthday Celebrations

Down in Bognor for birthday celebrations. A trip to the 'chines is in order. While Mummy was busy shovelling 2ps into the "Tuppenny Falls", Daddy and George played Air Hockey - notice that tongue poking out to aid concentration.

The birthday party was minimal, with only one same-age child, but plenty of adults, and more than enough food, of course.
